From May 17th to 23rd, the Fundació Catalunya Voluntària will be holding a very special activity entitled ‘Learning From Nature – The Vilanova Experience’ designed to meet the needs and expectations of a group of six young people from Pomerania, Poland, who are participating in an international mobility program for learning purposes. The activity aims to teach participants about nature and recognize its benefits and potential as a source of creativity, inspiration, and learning, capable of nourishing both body and spirit. We will be carrying out outdoor activities in the streets of the Baixamar neighborhood, in the park and on Ribes Roges beach, in the Ortoll woods, and on the Adarró trails. We will be collaborating with various individuals, organizations, and institutions in the city to discover and enjoy the environment and connect it with the development of a range of skills useful for accessing a job, for example.
We hope the activity will be a great success and the experience unforgettable, both in terms of observing and interacting with nature and the group cohesion fostered. Despite the activity’s short duration, participants will have the opportunity to develop skills and will receive a Youthpass certificate.
The activity takes place within the framework of a partnership agreement between the network of organizations in the Pomeramia region (Poland) and the Fundació Catalunya Voluntària, thanks to the support of the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program.
