This week we received the news that one of the latest internship activities hosted by the Fundació Catalunya Voluntària ‘Green Skills in Agriculture – Studying the Experience of Catalonia’ received the quality award from the Bulgarian National Youth Institute, at a national conference in Sofia dedicated to recognizing those educational activities that overcome the expected objectives and results, selected from around 200 activities funded by said institution and carried out with the support of the Erasmus + program of the European Commission.
The internship activity, created by FCV in partnership with the ‘Vasil Levski’ Professional School of Agriculture of Parvomay (Bulgaria), allowed a group of 19 teenagers, 14 girls and 5 boys, accompanied by 3 teachers and the school director, to experience first-hand the work of professionals in the agricultural and wine sector in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Sant Pere de Ribes, Cubelles, Sant Jaume dels Domenys and Llorenç del Penedès, where they carried out their internships in May 2023, thanks to the collaboration, dedication and desire to share of various experts and companies and a team of volunteers, who helped as tutors for the internships and with logistical matters.
It turns out that the first activity carried out jointly with this school, two years earlier, received the highest recognition from the same Youth Institute.
In 2025 we plan to collaborate again with the same school by hosting a new group of students.
