From September 26th to October 1st, 2025, the international meeting of the “Youth Green Compass” project took place in Kaunas, Lithuania. This initiative, funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program, connects young people from Lithuania, Spain, Italy, France, and Austria around sustainability and the European Green Deal.
The main objective of the meeting was to empower the group to take action for the environment. Over the course of five days, we shared ideas and best practices and designed solutions that can be applied in our cities. We had the opportunity to participate in dynamics, workshops, and simulations to reflect on environmental challenges and propose concrete actions.
The atmosphere was inspiring, full of creativity and cooperation. Each activity helped us strengthen our environmental awareness, international collaboration, and our commitment to a more sustainable future. It was awesome talking and making friends with representatives of different organizations in other countries who, like us, are also working hard to improve the environmental situation and, above all, to raise awareness about these issues.
Everything went very well, and now we’re taking home not only new knowledge and friends, but also the motivation to continue working for a greener planet.
