From 14 to 22 September 2025, a very special activity took place in Kaunas, Lithuania, as a result of collaboration with the FCV’s partner NGO Mano Europa: the international youth exchange’ Youth Going Green’, aiming to explore the different dimensions of sustainability and learning to what extent daily choices can shape a sustainable present and future in Europe.
The activity, organized thanks to the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, brought together 42 young people from 7 countries, who enjoyed a week full of non-formal activities like workshops, outdoor challenges, group work exercises, and intercultural parties, focused on turning the group’s motivations into specific actions to improve the natural environment.
The exchange equipped the whole group of participants with new information, tools, and knowledge to design environmental awareness campaigns and organize small-scale local green initiatives, which we expect to be implemented soon in the 7 participating countries (also in Lithuania, Estonia, Cyprus, Poland, Portugal, and Italy).
If you want to learn about the next youth exchange activities, we encourage you to check the ‘Opportunities’ section on this site and to follow us on social media.
