Catalans in the World
A program that aims to be a tool for the development of competencies, skills, and aptitudes, both on a personal and professional level, for young people, prioritizing those who find themselves in situations with fewer opportunities, and facilitating their participation in international mobility programs for volunteering and training, while also making it possible for Catalan entities to participate in international events.
The FCV is a coordinating and promoting entity for transnational projects within the framework of the European Commission's Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programs, such as European Volunteering, Training, and Youth Exchanges, in close collaboration with other non-profit and non-governmental organizations from across Europe and the world. The FCV also participates in the TLN Mobilicat program of the Public Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC), to offer professional internships in Europe for young people registered in Youth Guarantee.
It has the support of the "la Caixa" Foundation, to facilitate that young people referred by member entities of the Incorpora network, who are at risk of social exclusion, are the priority beneficiaries.
Since 2014, the FCV has been developing the project “Mou-te per Aprendre!” (Move to Learn!) which also has the support of the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia, to promote the participation of young people residing in Barcelona and Catalonia in the aforementioned international mobility programs.
