The exchange will take place in Vilanova i la Geltrú from 19 to 27 May and will bring together 20 young people from different countries
This Saturday, May 19, begins the youth exchange “Start the Cha(i)nge” in Vilanova i la Geltrú, with a total of 20 boys and girls. The project aims to help young people to take initiative to be an active part of change at the personal, local and social levels. Participants will live together for 9 days and will be doing activities, workshops, games, debates and dynamics, with the aim of helping each other show their creative, expressive, communication and learning potential.
The exchange is organized by Fundació Catalunya Voluntària together with the entities Minte Forte Association, System & Generation Association and RJOS ‘Apvalus Stalas’. It also has the support of the Erasmus + program. Young people who have registered are from Catalonia, aged between 18 and 25, and also participants from Lithuania, Romania and Turkey. This multicultural group of 20 young people will be led by four group leaders from the participating countries, who already have everything ready so that the experience is beneficial and enriching for all of them.
“Start the Cha(i)nge” expects to be a youth exchange that enhances the change to three levels: personal, group and social. It will be 9 intense days of learning to know each other and love oneself in order to be able to work well in a team and achieve change on a large scale, while having a good time and sharing different cultures.
We can’t wait to see you there!
