Only three days left to start the international study visit Tools and mechanisms for youth participation, organized by Fundació Catalunya Voluntària-FCV in Barcelona, from June 10 to 15. At this point, we are pleased to inform you about some of the entities with whom we are collaborating: on the one hand, the experts in participation regulations, the Coolectiva Colectic Participa, which will present the tools, processes and participation bodies at the municipal level; and, on the other, the Coordinator of entities of Poble Sec, which welcomes the group in a debate and exchange activity and organizes the Sample of Entities of Poble Sec, in which the FCV will have a stand, which we encourage you to visit next Saturday, June 15, in the morning.
During the whole week the group will visit three of the main resources for the participation of young people in the two most populated cities in the metropolitan area: Barcelona and L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Specifically, the participants to the event will have the opportunity to visit the Centre Europa Jove, in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, the Resource Center for Youth Associations-CRAJ, in the Espai Jove Fontana, and the Center of Information and Support for Young People-CIAJ, in the district of Ciutat Vella.
There will also be time to visit other entities and public resources at the service of young people, as well as to discover several neighborhoods and places of cultural interest in Barcelona.
The visit will involve 21 people, including mayors and city councilors, in Education, Youth and Sport of four Georgian cities: Barjumi, Chkhorotsku, Akhmeta and Poti. The meeting will also include the collaboration of leaders from two youth organizations in the same country, including the project coordinator, the Academy for Peace and Development, and a representative of the NGO Hub, together with a group of young Catalans, volunteers and workers in different entities, from different nationalities, who will accompany the group during the entire study visit.
