Brief description:

By implementing the project, you will

  • Contribute to overcoming language barriers among the inhabitants of Rybnik and its surroundings
  • Contribute to increasing the openness of the inhabitants of Rybnik to new, foreign and unknown ones
  • Chow that the EU funds will also reach local communities and not only large agglomerations
  • Provide an opportunity to meet and talk to representatives of other countries and cultures of our local community
  • Strengthen intercultural communication skills
  • Increase local participation in community and civic life, develop a sense of initiative
  • Create interesting offers of activities for the local community

Participant tasks:

  • Participation in activities for children, usually in the afternoon, after their school
  • Cooperation with teachers of singing, dancing, drawing, playing instruments classes
  • Participation in theater classes
  • Assistance in the daily work of the youth center
  • Organising events and workshops e.g. international evenings, cooking workshops, etc
  • Promotional activities of the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus Plus programmes (running presentations and workshops for youth)
  • Halo Rybnik activities (volunteering at events organised by the city, photographing events, international days/events, tour guides and toursists’ service)
  • Conducting classes and workshops in schools about the country of origin

Participants profile:

  • The real motivation for the experience
  • Age between 18-30 years old
  • Willingness to live and work in Rybnik
  • Interest in working with children and youth but also with seniors
  • High interest in culture
  • Willingness to teach and learn foreign languages
  • Willingness to learn about Polish culture and traditions, but also readiness to share their culture
  • High level of interpersonal communication, activities within the project focus on working with people
  • Initiative and creativity
  • Previous experience in various cultural and social activities will be welcome but not obligatory

Que s’ofereix al voluntari/a:

La totalitat de les despeses d’allotjament, manutenció, transport local, assegurança mèdica, suport lingüístic i visat (si fos necessari) estan cobertes pel programa Cos Europeu de Solidaritat de la Comissió Europea.

L’entitat organitzadora farà efectiu el pagament del cost del viatge internacional (fins a la quantia màxima del pressupost establert) un cop presentats els documents  justificatius del viatge i de la compra realitzada.

Els voluntaris/es també reben suport personal (mentor) i suport relacionat amb les tasques (supervisor) per part de l’entitat d’enviament i d’acollida abans, durant i després del projecte.

Al finalitzar el projecte els voluntaris/es rebran el Youthpass, certificat que acredita el seu pas pel CES.

Qui pot participar?

Una persona jove de 18 a 30 anys. La persona participant del projecte ha de ser activa, flexible, motivada, creativa i interessada en la participació activa i la implicació personal.

Que cal fer per participar?

1) Preparar una carta de motivació personalitzada pel projecte en anglès (o en la llengua oficial del país de destinació);

2) Preparar el teu currículum en anglès (o en la llengua oficial del país de destinació);

3) Enviar tots dos documents a: info@catalunyavoluntaria.cat especificant el títol del projecte en el qual t’agradaria participar. 

La FCV enviarà totes les candidatures a l’entitat d’acollida, qui farà la selecció final del/s voluntari/es.
