Want to find out more about what nonviolent resistance is and how it can help to fight for social change and justice in our societies? Come and learn about nonviolent resistance through the unique historic events that took place during the Estonian independence movement, called the Singing Revolution.

The Fundación Catalunya Voluntària, in collaboration with the Nexes Interculturals de Joves per Europa, is conducting an informative workshop that will take place on the 17th of July at 17:00 and lasts for an hour and a half, during which information will be provided about the history of the Estonian independence movement and how the Estonians used their cultural heritage to carry out a strategic non-violent movement that lead to the independence of the Estonian Republic.

Come and share your thoughts and vision, as well as learn from others about how we can be active in our communities to promote and advocate for human rights, democracy, freedom and justice and spark a social change in order to build more peaceful societies.

As the places are limited please notify us of you attendance by registering to the workshop in this link.
