The preparatory meeting for the Privilege Class youth exchange, which will take place in early April in Vilanova i la Geltrú, was held on the weekend from 22-25 February and was attended by young people from Lithuania, The Netherlands, Romania, Ireland and Catalonia.

In total, ten participants of the program met to discuss and define the specific objectives, expectations and to ultimate the preparations before the youth exchange starts. It was a very productive weekend, where we also enjoyed the Mediterranean climate and the beaches of Vilanova i la Geltrú. One day we even woke up in time to see the sunrise!

The youth exchange is now getting closer and now we have everything ready, starting with motivation! We really want to open this space to discuss about our privileges and discuss what we can do to act in situations of injustice.

This exchange will be the last of the Privilege Program, a cycle that has consisted of three exchanges that speak about intersection and privileges. First it was the exchange of Privilege of Origin, then the one of Gender Privilege and, finally, the Privilege Class one, which will take place from March 30 to April 7 in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
