The Fundación Catalunya Voluntaria invites you to participate in the workshop ‘Learn to read between the lines and beyond’, an activity that will take place on June 29 at the Casa del Mar (C/Albareda 1-13) in Barcelona from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The activity will help us to identify some of the manipulation strategies used by the media, both physical and digital, as well as to reflect on the power and role played by the media. We will analyze the role that everyone can play as recipients, transmitters and also creators of content.
The workshop aims to develop critical thinking and look at the tools that can help us interpret the media the most.

The activity, carried out in person, is open to all people over 16 years of age who are interested in participating. As we have a limited number of places, we encourage you to complete the registration form as soon as possible.

The activity is part of the strategic cooperation project for innovation KA2 ‘Mainstreaming Media Literacy and Thinking Competences in Youth Work’, the result of which will be to create a training manual for youth workers that includes different theories and tools focused on the identification, development and recognition of thinking skills and media literacy. The activity is supported by the Erasmus + program of the European Commission.
