Catalans Around the World

The program aims at being a tool for enabling young people to develop skills, abilities and aptitudes, both on a personal and professional level, prioritizing those who have less opportunities. It facilitates youth participation in international volunteering, training and mobility programs. At the same time, it enables Catalan non-profit organizations to participate in international networks and events.

The FCV is a coordinating organisation promoting transnational projects within the framework of Erasmus+ Programme by European Commission, such as Volunteering Projects, Trainings, and Youthful Exchanges. In addition, it collaborates closely with other non-profit-making organisations and NGOs around Europe and the world. The FCV also participates in the TLN Mobilicat program of the Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya -SOC, to offer internships in Europe for young people registered at Youth Guarantee.

It has the support of Obra Social “La Caixa”, enabling young people with social exclusion risk, coming from entities of the “Incorpora” network, to become the main beneficiaries.

Since 2014, the FCV develops the project “Move to Learn“, which is supported by Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia. Its aim is to promote the participation of youth living in Barcelona and Catalonia international mobility programmes mentioned above
