Hello!
It’s Ana here! I would like to brief you on my international training course experience “Gaming for learning: Exploring gamification in youth work” that took place in Kobuleti (Georgia) from June 7th to 15th, 2022. Participants from seven different countries attended the course: Armenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Spain.
Initially, we were taught a theoretical framework to develop and create informal educational games which we later played and tested. From start to finish, all those suggestions had three themes in common: learning, curiosity and networking.
This course has brought me the opportunity to learn from each other’s input and to exchange knowledge and opinions about new strategies and educational resources that will significantly boost my creativity and expand my expertise in daily planification. Meeting new people with an extraordinary background, and specially sharing time, knowledge and laughter with them has made this experience unique and worthwhile. Overall, I can conclude that the course has undoubtedly fulfilled my expectations.
Last but not least, visiting Georgia was a discovery and enjoyment of a totally new culture for me. Its exquisite food, the (“supra”) dinner experience, the traditional dance and the toasts accompanied by inspiring chats have left me speechless. Georgia is a place where I will come back sooner then later, especially for future educational collaborations on a professional level.
