Do you want to be part of initiatives to promote peace in Barcelona? Do you want to start new activities and projects of awareness and training?
In the Fundació Catalunya Voluntària-FCV we are constantly looking for the help of young people and adults who want to carry out solidarity actions to improve their environment and who can dedicate some of their time to be part of a team and create new educational social, cultural and transformational activities.
If you want to gain experience in the third sector and discover the usefulness of the non-regulated and intercultural methodology, if you are interested in knowing the value of education for peace… There are many activities that we are organizing in the FCV and, that is why, we can offer different collaboration options: carrying out campaigns and advocacy actions, facilitating workshops, creating new materials, mediating and interpreting between cultures, etc.
We are very happy to have received a little bit of support from the Barcelona City Council for the project Active Volunteering for Multicultural Peace. The amount of €1500 will help us, during 9 months, to support all the people who carry out their volunteering actions within the FCV program Clam per la Pau.
Volunteering in the FCV includes the signing of a volunteering agreement and receiving the support of a person responsible for offering the necessary information, training and follow-up so that your volunteering actions can also be an opportunity for ongoing training.
We prioritize young people over 18 years old, non-EU nationals, to help us promote new volunteering and training actions in partnership with our colleagues in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Indeed, we are now looking for people who can communicate in Arabic and who have knowledge of English or French.
